I'm Alex Bromley, owner and head Strength Coach at Inland Empire Barbell.

Direct consultation with accomplished lifters can run thousands of dollars per month. The plus side is that you can have any questions answered definitively and get direct, personalized programming. The downside is that you might have to take out a second mortgage.
Class based barbell instruction (i.e. Crossfit) will offer specialized equipment and direct coaching, but typically cater to brand new lifters without any clear competitive goals. The classes cater to the lowest common denominator and are specifically programmed for 'Functional Fitness'. The going rate in Redlands? $150-250 per month.
The typical rate for online coaches range from $100-200 per month (depending on number of IG followers) and only include vague, cookie-cutter templates with no personalization or direct supervision. One of my newest clients just finished a training cycle with a IG lifting star who boasted a 100k+ following. What did nearly $100 per month get him? A monthly Excel template with pre-filled percentages.
Corporate gyms provide access to chrome barbells and plastic plates at a discount, but are notoriously filled with phony 'experts' and actively enforce rules that interfere with competitive training ('NO CHALK' rules, 'Lunk Alarms', etc.). Prices can range from $15-40 a month depending on size and amenities, however this accounts for ZERO instruction or direction and someone will likely tell you at some point that deadlifting is not allowed.
